McKinney Performing Arts Center announced Thursday a fundraising campaign called 100 Days, 100 Donations. The center, located in the Historic Collin County Courthouse in the heart of downtown McKinney, is asking patrons for support to help MPAC continue to bring entertainment and activity to Historic Downtown McKinney.
Comedy at the Courthouse and High Noon on the Courthouse Lawn were recently launched new programs that enjoyed great success for the facility. Many recent shows and performances have sold out.
“We want to keep bringing non-stop activity coming to downtown McKinney. MPAC has enjoyed tremendous support from our community over the years. In order to maintain and grow programs, we have a goal of gaining financial support from an additional 100 individuals, families and companies,” said Ty Lake, MPAC Director.
There are three levels of sponsorship for MPAC.
$350 – Join the Jury Seat Purchase Program: Honor a loved one with a one-time brass plate positioned on a courtroom theater seat.
$250 – Wall of Fame: This annual campaign will feature a wall with names of supporting businesses showcased on the ground level at MPAC.
$100 – MPAC Partner: The annual membership program for individuals and families, who receive special advance notice on certain events.
Program and donation information is available by calling 972-547-2650 or online at www.mckinneyperformingartscenter.org. The 100 Days, 100 Donations campaign officially launches on Sunday, June 23, and continues through Monday, Sept. 30. The campaign will conclude with a special celebration on Thursday, Oct. 17 at MPAC.
