The MOMS Club of McKinney-Central finished up the 2012 year with a tour of fire station #4 at the Collin County Regional Airport. On Thursday, our group of children ages 8 months to 12 years were led on a tour of the living area, sleeping quarters, kitchen, workout area and garage where two of the fire engines are housed. The children were led and educated about this location by four of McKinney’s finest firemen. The children enjoyed learning about the engines, and were also able to see the “jaws of life” and equipment used to put out a fire on an airplane.
The MOMS Club of McKinney-Central thanks the staff of station #4 for the tour and Cindy Pickrell for helping to arrange the tour for our group.
