MISD Superintendent Named to American Diabetes Leadership Board

The American Diabetes Association announced that Dr. J.D. Kennedy, McKinney ISD Superintendent, was named a member of the Community Leadership Board (CLB) for the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the American Diabetes Association for a two-year term.

As a board member, Dr. Kennedy will provide leadership and direction to the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter to support annual American Diabetes Association goals and objectives.

“We are delighted to have Dr. Kennedy as a member of the Community Leadership Board for the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the American Diabetes Association,” said Quin Neal, Senior Executive Director. “His leadership will help us further our movement to Stop Diabetes®.”

The American Diabetes Association is leading the fight to Stop Diabetes and its deadly consequences and fighting for those affected by diabetes. The Association funds research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; delivers services to thousands of individuals; provides objective and credible information; and gives voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.
