Our Children’s Circle and MISD team up to bring you a personal forum and discussion opportunity with our Senior Director, Dr. Paul Foster, on Friday, Nov. 11 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30. It will take place in the Greer Administrative Annex Conference Room #1 (510 Heard Street – Corner of Heard and College Streets in the historic district).
Dr. Foster will answer your personal questions and provide suggestions about how best to advocate for your child within the MISD Autism program. Topics to think about: IEP goals, 504 modifications, mainstream and inclusive curricula, behavior intervention planning, diagnostics and school assessments, curriculum and classroom modifications, STAAR testing, and related services such as speech and occupational therapies, music therapy, special education counseling, in-home training.
Come join us for enlightened discussion at the Greer Annex. Light refreshments will be served. There is NO Child Care for this event. Please make your own arrangements.
