“Minuteman Disaster Response formed out of the response to the Joplin, Missouri tornado in June 2011. We delivered goods and materials that had been donated from churches across the Dallas Ft Worth metro area,” said Paul Pogue, founder of the organization.
Since Joplin, the organization has deployed relief efforts to aid families in the aftermaths of the Bastrop wildfires and the tornados that struck Moore, Oklahoma and in Forney, Lancaster and Granbury, Texas.
“Minuteman Response is fortunate to gain someone of Tracy’s skill level and work ethic. We look forward to becoming more broad-based in our reach under her watch,” said Mark David, the Chairman of the foundation.
