Synchronized swimmer Mary Killman finished fourth in free solo with a score of 87.710 in Kazan, Russia, on Tuesday while competing at the World University Games.
The U.S. captured the bronze medal in the team event and a fourth-place finish in duet which began July 6 and will run through Wednesday.
Last August, Killman and her partner, Mariya Koroleva, finished 11th in the synchronized swimming duets finals at the Olympic Games in London.
Killman, formerly of McKinney, now lives and trains in Northern California. She watched Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina extend Russia’s domination to win the gold with a score of 197.100 points.
