McKinney celebrates another beautiful Texas fall season with the 13th Annual Family Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 21. The event, hosted by the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department, will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 2001 S. Central Expressway.
Activities this year include an outdoor movie, food, a petting zoo, pony rides, train rides, face painting, a video game theater and inflatables. The outdoor movie, “How to Train Your Dragon” starts at 8 p.m. Families staying to watch the outdoor movie are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
“The Family Fall Festival provides the community with wholesome entertainment appropriate and fun for all ages. Events like this one allow the community to come together and celebrate our city and get to know their neighbors,” said Parks, Recreation and Open Space Director Lemuel Randolph.
