McKinney, TX Airport to Offer Daily Flights to Houston

McKINNEY, Texas (Jan. 21, 2016) – The McKinney National Airport and McKinney Air Center have announced a partnership with Texas Air Shuttle, a membership service for business travelers that offers daily flights between McKinney and Houston beginning in early spring of this year.

The all-you-can-fly plans allow members to pay a monthly fee and fly as much as they want between McKinney National Airport and Lone Star Executive Airport in Conroe near Houston. Single membership prices range from $1,895 to $2,850 a month.

“We are thrilled to offer this service at McKinney National Airport and believe this will provide the perfect alternative to stressful commutes and long wait times typically facing regular business travelers getting from the metroplex to Houston,” said Ken Wiegand, Executive Director of McKinney National Airport. “We understand the importance of time for frequent business fliers, and we pride ourselves on offering first class services to those who fly in and out of our airport, and this partnership with Texas Air Shuttle brings one more top notch experience to business travel in McKinney.”

Texas Air Shuttle will initially offer service to Houston but has plans to expand flights from McKinney National Airport to Texas cities Austin, San Antonio, Harlingen and Midland, as well as Oklahoma City and Rogers, Arkansas in the future.

Texas Air Shuttle owns, operates and maintains a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft and each flight will have two pilots for additional safety.
