McKinney Schools Request Donations For Project Graduation

McKinney Boyd, McKinney High and McKinney North high schools sent the following message out to school parents and guardians:

Our seniors will graduate on June 3rd, but we need your help NOW!  Donations from both parents and the community are far below what they were last year and we’re quickly running out of time to prepare for our big event.

As you can imagine, an all-night event for 1400 graduates is costly but we’re determined to help keep them safe on their big night.  We have to provide food, drinks, prizes, games, etc.  This is our 8th annual celebration and it’s become a tradition that we want to keep going and we simply must have your support to make it happen.

If you haven’t made a donation and possible can please do so soon.  Every dollar goes back to our kids.  Even if you don’t have a senior this year, you’ll want this fabulous event to be happening when your child does graduate.

Senior parents, please ask yourself what it’s worth to know that your child will be somewhere safe, spending the night with their friends and not participating in dangerous behavior that could have serious consequences.

Please send your donations to: McKinney’s Project Graduation, PO Box 1235, McKinney, TX  75070.   You can also visit our website at www.mckinneys-project-graduation.com
