McKinney Police Search for Robbery Suspect

The McKinney Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.

On Sunday, January 22, at around 11:45 p.m., an aggravated robbery occurred at the Quiktrip convenience store
located at 7349 S. Custer Rd. in McKinney. An unknown  white male suspect, possibly of Hispanic origin,
entered the store and requested tobacco products from the clerk. The suspect then displayed a hand gun and
demanded the cash from the cash register. The clerk complied with the request and the suspect fled the scene,
on foot, with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during this robbery.

The suspect is believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, five feet eight inches to five feet nine inches tall,
150 to 160lbs. He appeared to have been unshaven with some facial stubble. The clerk believed he had a slight
speech impediment, possibly a lisp.

If you recognize the subject in the composite drawing, or have information about this crime, please contact Detective Paul Hardin at 972-547-2742.
