McKinney Police Hunting For Robbery Suspect

Submitted by McKinney Police Department

McKinney Police are requesting the public’s help in identifying an unknown white male who has committed multiple aggravated robberies in McKinney. It is believed the unidentified male is possibly responsible for an aggravated robbery in Frisco.

On Thursday around 2 p.m., McKinney Police responded to the U.S. Post Office on N. Central Expressway, as the subject pictured in the story was attempting to rob an elderly couple sitting in their car, in the post office parking lot. The suspect produced a handgun and demanded the couple’s money. The suspect was unsuccessful and then fled the scene in what is described as a gray van.

Around 4:55 p.m., McKinney Police responded to an aggravated robbery at the Subway restaurant located at 1521 N Custer Rd. The suspect entered the store, produced a handgun, and demanded money. He then fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect at both robberies is described as a white male mid-50s, around 6 fteet tall weighing around 250 pounds. He has gray or salt and peppered colored hair. It is believed the same subject committed the robbery at the post office and the Subway. It is also believed this suspect has committed three other aggravated robberies in addition to today’s robberies. This suspect is becoming more aggressive and threatening with his handgun. McKinney PD asks if you see this suspect to not approach him, but call your local police.

Anyone with information about these robberies or who knows the identity of this suspect please call the McKinney Police at 972-547-2700 or Detective Paul Hardin at 972-547-2742.
