The McKinney Police Department conducted a search warrant on Wednesday at 4309 Red Oak Circle in Parker, Texas, as a result of a nine-month investigation concerning a burglary ring in Collin County.
Paul Allan Kelso (white male, born 10-14-50) was arrested for two counts of Burglary of a Habitation, both of which are 2nd degree felonies. Kelso is believed to be responsible for dozens of home burglaries spanning the past year.
Inside Kelso’s residence, detectives recovered over two hundred firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, jewelry, guitars, silverware, and countless other household items. Detectives are currently going through each piece of property trying to identify its original owner. Dozens of pieces of property have already been identified as stolen from residential burglaries through serial number matches. Detectives believe that the arrest of Paul Allan Kelso and the search of his residence will result in the clearing of dozens of burglaries of habituations. At this time, the investigation is multi-jurisdictional and ongoing.
