McKinney North’s Jordan Hart Wins First Regional Tennis Gold Medal in School History

Jordan Hart is the Region II-4A Boy’s Singles Champion after an amazing run through regional play.

He won the title by defeating Isaac Childs of Cedar Park HS (6-1, 6-0), Tyler Cannon of Denison HS (6-2, 6-2), Nihar Damarasigu of Frisco Heritage HS (6-2, 4-6, 6-0), and Brandon Hogland of Rockwall HS (7-6, 7-5).

Hart’s Regional Championship is the first Regional Gold Medal in North Tennis History.

Two weeks ago, Hart started as 1 of 1,024 Boy’s Singles players in 4A and 8 wins later he is now just 1 of 8 remaining. Hart will represent McKinney North HS at the State Tournament in Austin on April 30th and May 1st.

This will be Hart’s second straight trip to Austin, last year he teamed with Matt Mattei in boys doubles to reach the State Quarterfinals before losing to eventual State Champions O’Rourke/Mayo from Austin Lake Travis HS.
