Is it time to get rid of those thing you are no longer using around your house, or give away those clothes that no longer fit? If your answer is a resounding yes, reserve a space at the McKinney Ladies Association (MLA) annual fall yard sale. The sale, which is open to the public, is scheduled for Saturday, September 29 from 7 a.m. to noon at the Stonebridge United Methodist Church parking lot, 1800 S. Stonebridge Dr.
Reservations for Fall Yard Sale Spaces are now being accepted. Each space is the width of one parking space. Spaces are limited to the first 126 registered. Reservations for a space are taken on a first come, first served basis and must be received by September 24, 2012. Spaces are limited, so register early. Cost: $45 per selling space. Participants may not sell concessions and must remove all items and trash from their space at the end of the sale.
The event, which is open to the public, is a fundraiser for the MLA, with funds going to support McKinney’s Community Lifeline Center and the McKinney Public Safety Children’s Scholarship Fund. There will be a requested $1 donation per adult to shop.
