With new school district, attendance zones will be rolled out this winter for the 2014-15 school year. The McKinney Independent School District launched a page on its website containing frequently asked questions. where high school students and their parents can review basic information about the rezoning process, including how to provide feedback and input; what to expect from rezoning and whether or not grandfathering will be an option.
Recall, the MISD board of trustees approved the rezoning parameters last week.
MISD posted on its Facebook page: “Due to continued growth, McKinney Boyd High School enrollment exceeding capacity and the recent additions & renovations at McKinney High School, there is a need to redraw attendance zones for the 2014-15 school year.”
