The McKinney High JV and Varsity Cheer squads are sponsoring a community cheer clinic this June. The cheer clinic is open to ages 4 years to the 8th grade and it’s a great way to introduce cheerleading to your little princess, or to help brush up on existing skills.
The combined squads will be teaching clinic attendees cheers, dances and even jump training. And of course there will be a performance for the parents on the last day of camp. All attendees will also receive a participation tee shirt, as well as be invited back to the fall clinic and participation in the Homecoming game and parade.
This event is one of the 2012/2013 MHS Cheer Booster Club fundraisers. If you have a little girl that is interested in cheering, this is a great way to help ease any jitters and make a few friends while having fun. Spread the word, tell your friends and help support the MHS Cheer program.
The MHS Cheerleaders make this clinic a fun event for all ages, and the showcase performance is always a hoot to watch. Not to mention seeing your little ones cheering at the MHS Homecoming game in the fall is a great memory.
The Cheer Clinic will be held at McNeil Elementary June 4th through the 7th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am daily. See flyer below for registration and more details.
And as always, GO LIONS!!!!
