McKinney High School Celebrates ‘New’ Campus with Mane Event

Guests, school officials and dignitaries, including Texas Senator Ken Paxton and Congressman Sam Johnson, gathered at McKinney High School on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 12, to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of the newly renovated high school.

Under construction for approximately 18 months, the school has been undergoing a facelift and expansion, which includes the addition of new space that will bring capacity to 3,000 students. Extensive renovations have been made to the campus including the athletic facility, the band hall and orchestra room and the kitchen and cafeteria area.

Following a brief ceremony, guests were given the opportunity to tour the campus.
