McKinney FFA’s Phillips Celebrates First Place With a Special `Valentine’

Six students from McKinney FFA joined more than 1,000 participants for the Junior Heifer Show at the San Antonio Rodeo and Stock show last week. Multiple Breeds were all represented well by McKinney FFA in a very competitive show.

Reese Philips from McKinney High, who has broken leg, received help from Lindsey Phillips, and showed Valentine a Brangus, winning first place in the Winter Senior Class. Coincidently, this occured on Valentines Day. (They are pictured with Valentine above.)

Shingi Patel showed Merry who is a Shorthorn who place 12th in her class

Shane Kleynhans showed Ella who is a Main Anjou who placed 6th in her class

Sarah Gatten showed Molly who is a Shorthorn who placed 10th in her class
