McKinney Entrepreneur, Josh Hamilton Settle Federal Suit Over Use of `Play Hard Pray Harder'

TSB Community Links

Former Texas Rangers star Josh Hamilton will no longer use “Play Hard Pray Harder” on T-shirts, according to a story on dallasnews.com.

Tyler Mileger of McKinney and Joshua Eckel of Dallas reached a settlement with Hamilton and his wife Katie over the use of the phrase on an article of clothing, claiming it violated their trademark. They claimed ScriptureArt, based in North Carolina, was in violation. Katie is a co-founder of ScriptureArt, the story claims.

The Hamiltons now live in Southern California, where Josh plays for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
