Olivia Brunk, a varsity cheerleader and graduating senior from McKinney Boyd High School, recently was honored at McKinney Boyd for being named to the large coed cheer squad at Oklahoma State University.
The large coed squad, consisting of 15 male and 15 female cheerleaders, supports the OSU varsity football and basketball teams and competes in the university cheer championships annually in Daytona Beach, FL.
Olivia was a four year cheer participant at McKinney Boyd under Coach Nell Stortz. She was a competitive cheerleader for Cheer Athletics of Garland, where she participated in the Cheerleading World Championships for 6 years and was a key component of teams who won several of Cheer Athletics’ world championship trophies.
