The McKinney Boyd Drumline will perform Friday, July 29 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, and the band will perform Saturday, July 30, at the Boyd cafeteria.

McKinney Boyd Drum-A-Thon Preview Event Scheduled for Friday, July 29th at McKinney Performing Arts Center
What: The McKinney Boyd Bronco Drumline performs some of your favorite cadences.
Who: In addition to approximately 25 percussionists from the Bronco Band, on hand to help kick off the event and even join the Drumline for a cadence or two will be:
· McKinney Mayor Pro Tem Travis Ussery
· City Councilman Roger Harris
· MBHS principal Rick McDaniel
· McKinney Performing Arts Center Director David Taylor
Why: To promote Saturday’s Drum-A-Thon and to promote the performing arts in our community
Who Should Attend: Everyone, this is a great, fun event for all ages – this is a free event, donations accepted
When: Friday, July 29th from 4:30p – 5:30p
Where: McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N Tennessee St. Downtown McKinney Texas(all four corners on the square)

What: For 18 hours members of the McKinney Boyd Bronco Band will be making music or practicing as part of this teambuilding/fundraising event. Marimbas, Tenors, Bass drums, Snares, Cymbals, and more…
Who: The entire McKinney Boyd Percussion Section
Why: Fundraising and Team Building Event to raise money for new equipment and supplies for the percussion section of the band. Pledges will be taken and any patron who donates $100 or more will be listed on this year’s Drumline shirt which not only will be worn by our percussionists but also fans and MBHS students.
Who should attend: Everyone, this is a great, fun event for all ages – this is a free event, donations accepted
When: Saturday, July 30, from 6:00am – 12:00 midnight (18 Hours)
