Lone Star Equine Council West Texas Horse Industry Tour is April 11-12

agrilife extensionTexas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Collin County and the Lone Star Equine Council will be hosting this year’s West Texas Horse Industry Tour on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12. The tour bus will leave Myers Park and Event Center (7117 CR 166, McKinney, TX) at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 11 and will return around 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12. The tour this year will in- clude 2 full days with stops at the historic 6666’s Ranch, the Pitchfork Ranch, the Texas Tech Equestrian Center, and the Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock. We will dine at the fa- mous Cagle Family Ranch Steakhouse on Friday evening.

For more information on this event or to pre-register, please call the Collin County Extension Office at (972) 548-4233 by Monday, April 7. Registration is $130 per attendee or $180 per couple or double occupancy which includes the tour buses and Friday’s hotel in Lubbock.

Payment is due no later than April 7 and should be mailed to our office. Cancellations after April 7th will not be refund- ed. Please make checks payable to: COLLIN AG SUPPORT FUND. Due to the capacity of the bus, attendance will be limited to the first 50. If you are a horse owner, please make plans to attend this tour.
