Empty Bowls McKinney

Local Artisans Feature Handmade ‘Empty Bowls’ at Orisons Fine Art

During its January “Second Saturday” open house, Orisons Fine Art and Framing will feature a series of beautiful  bowls handmade by professional local artists. The public is invited to this Bowl Viewing Gala in preparation for next month’s third annual ‘Empty Bowls’ fund-raiser to combat hunger.

Organized by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, McKinney’s Empty Bowls event supports our Community Lifeline Center to combat hunger in McKinney during a time when it is needed most in McKinney.

Artisans in the area have contributed their handmade bowls to Empty Bowls 2014 and will be auctioned using an online platform. Join Orisons for complimentary wine, beverages and desserts on Jan 11 from 7 – 10 p.m. at 110 E. Louisiana Street in historic downtown McKinney for a chance to help fight hunger right here in our town…one bowl at a time.

Empty Bowls 2014: Thurs. Feb. 6, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
