Lions Compete at Plano Invitational

The McKinney High varsity boys cross country team finished 7th this past weekend at the Plano Invitational with outstanding running by Sam Anich, who moved from MHS’ number 6 last week  to number 2.

The Lions were again paced by senior Jacob Judd, who finished 20th overall and again was the team’s number  1 runner.

The MHS junior varsity boys finished 3rd overall with a host of Lions finishing in the top 20. Alex Warren turned in the best time for the junior varsity followed by Michael Oliver, James Landry, Tyson Bouck, Cole Murray and Ryan Hook.

“Our effort continues to improve week to week,” MHS coach Francis Jones said. “We travel to Mesquite next weekend for the North Mesquite Stallion Stampede.”
