We support Geralyn Kever for re-election to McKinney City Council District 2.
Geralyn has a diverse educational and professional background. She holds an engineering degree from Texas A&M University, and a Masters in International Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is well-equipped to study the complex issues regarding transportation, economic development, and business operations facing our city. She is a communications consultant, and her strength is bringing people with different ideas and interests to the table to collaborate toward a common goal. Recently, she initiated a joint work session between the City Council and MISD Board to address the impact and relationship of future school locations on transportation and safety in our
Geralyn has a strong volunteer spirit. She has given her time to the Samaritan Inn and the McKinney Education Foundation and multiple city boards and commissions. She represents McKinney on the Regional Transportation Council, and serves as the Communication Chair for the Dallas Regional Mobility Coalition. She received the Inside Collin County “21 for the 21st Century” Leadership Award and the Volunteer McKinney Community Servant Leadership Award.
Geralyn has a clear sense of accountability to her constituents and her city. She is the best candidate for District 2.
