Double green seminars will be held on June 16 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the John and Judy Gay Library, 6861 Eldorado Parkway, McKinney. The topics will be composting and building rain barrels.

Most importantly, composting keeps organic waste out of the landfill and returns valuable fertilizer to the earth. Rain is free, learn how to capture it. Learn about rainwater harvesting and build your very own rain barrel* for only $50 each. All supplies provided by AgriLife Extension
