The Texas Ethics Commission had no record of reports for two candidates (Mabel Simpson and Jeran Akers) as of Wednesday, January 18th.

“I am honored by the outpouring of support for my campaign for the Texas House. Whether they are contributing financially, hosting an event, putting up signs, making phone calls or walking door to door, my enthusiastic supporters are the backbone of this campaign,” Leach said.

He is a graduate of SMU’s Dedman School of Law and currently practices with the law firm of Griffith Nixon Davison, P.C. He received his undergraduate degree from Baylor University. Leach Announces Endorsements

Leach announced Thursday that he has received the endorsement of Andrew Piziali, local political organizer and activist and Co-Founder of Allen Area Patriots.

In his endorsement, Andrew Piziali stated, “I am personally endorsing Jeff Leach in his bid to represent the people of Texas House district 67. I know that Jeff is willing and able to stand on the principles of rule of law, limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility and state sovereignty as a state legislator. He understands the role of state government is the protection of Texans’ God-given rights, no more and no less. This will guide his decisions as state representative in 2013 and beyond.”

Andrew Piziali is Co-founder of the Allen Area Patriots, one of the largest conservative political organizations in the area. Allen Area Patriots is committed to motivating local citizens to actively participate in all levels of government through awareness, education and grassroots training and volunteer efforts.

Mr. Piziali previously served in the United States Air Force as a systems programmer and has been in the design verification field for over 25 years, publishing two books that became seminal references for the field.  In 2007, Mr. Piziali left his professional field to step out to make a difference for his state and his country. He regularly teaches in his LifeGroup at Chase Oaks Church in Plano and, in addition to serving with Allen Area Patriots, is extremely active in politics in Collin county and state- and nation-wide.

In response to Mr. Piziali’s endorsement, Jeff Leach stated, “As Co-Founder of the Allen Area Patriots, Andy Piziali is acutely aware of the concerns of the voters in District 67. Andy knows that, in order to restore and renew our state, we need representatives who are not only right on the issues, but also who have courage, integrity and passion to make a difference in Austin. As such, I am honored to have my good friend Andy Piziali’s endorsement and support.”
