Submitted by TSB Community

PLANO – Captain Knox Nunnally (USMC-Ret.), Co-Founder of Vets for Freedom endorsed Jon Cole for State Representative and released the following statement:

“Jon Cole has a deep respect for the men and women currently in the armed services and veterans who have fought for our freedom overseas. He wants Texas to be a place where every veteran can come home to education and employment opportunities equal to the personal sacrifice American soldiers and their families have made for our freedom. I’ve known Jon for years. He is a conservative who stands on principle and does not waver. I trust Jon to fight for every veteran and every Texan as the next State Representative from Collin County. He deserves the support of every veteran and military family to be the next State Representative from District 67.”

Knox Nunnally is a co-founder of Vets for Freedom, founded in 2006 by veterans of the Iraq and Afghan wars to advocate for victory in the War on Terror. Knox is a former Marine Infantry Captain who served three consecutive deployments to Iraq with the Second Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion out of Camp Lejeune, N.C. He holds a Bronze Star for valor and a Purple Heart. Nunnally has been quoted in USA Today, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Per Contra Magazine. Nunnally is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the University of Texas School of Law.

Jon Cole, a conservative businessman, is the most experienced, qualified, and battle-tested candidate in the race.
