Input Sought for Potential Aquatic Facility in McKinney

By Matthew Bado, TSB Staff

Does McKinney need another aquatic center of some kind? The McKinney Community Development Corporation invites citizens to weigh-in on a potential community aquatic facility Thursday evening at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. (McKinney currently has the Juanita Maxfield Aquatic Center and Old Settler’s Aquatic Center.)

Although details of this public input meeting are not on the city’s website nor the MCDC website, their respective Facebook pages say that citizens will have the opportunity to share their ideas and concerns Thursday from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at MPAC, located inside the old courthouse at 111 N. Tennessee St.
