The Imagine International Academy of North Texas, an International Baccalaureate World School, announces the presentation of the Grade 10 Personal Projects. In the final year of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, each student completes a personal project, a significant piece of work that is the product of the student’s own initiative and creativity. Each project must reflect a personal understanding of the areas of interaction. Students apply the skills acquired through one of these areas, as well as approaches to learning. Students are expected to choose their project, which can take many forms, and take the process through to completion under the supervision of a teacher in the school. This involves planning, research, and a high degree of personal reflection.
This year, Grade 10 students at our school have spent seven months planning, preparing, and carrying out this project of passion. On Thursday, March 20, they will spend the day presenting their projects to the school and community. Parents and community members are invited to come and learn more about these projects from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 20th. The school is located at 2860 Virginia Parkway, McKinney.
