McKinney has been officially on the map for quite awhile now. We were voted the 5th best place to live, our historic district has been used for television shows and film, and now the Cotton Mill was host to a superstar wedding that resulted in an after-party with some well known celebs at Churchills Pub. For those of you who live on gossip magazines and constantly watch TMZ, it was a dream come true.
McKenzie Smith, the drummer from Midlake, said “I do” on Saturday night to his beautiful bride. Guests included Danny Masterson, also known as Steven Hyde on That 70s Show, and Grammy winner Norah Jones.
The wedding guests entered Churchills Pub around 12:15am dressed to impress and looking for a nightcap after the wedding. It was exciting for all and everyone was very respectful of their privacy. They were shown true Southern Hospitality from pub owner, Marie Briton, and hopefully they will return!
