High School Hallways is brief weekly digest of happenings in McKinney area high schools.

McKinney Independent School District (MISD)

1) McKinney Students Make Collin College President’s, Dean’s Lists
Collin College announced its President’s List and Dean’s List for the 2012 Fall Semester. Announced below are McKinney students who made the cut. Read More.

2) Security and Trust: MISD Middle Schools Hope to Build Both, as Cockrill Sees with Officer Daryl King
When the students at Cockrill Middle School returned from winter break two weeks ago, a new member of the faculty greeted them. Read More.

3) Soccer Scoreboard: Lions Claim Lobo Invitational Championship
With tournament action wrapping up on Saturday, the Lions defeated Prosper in the Lobo Invitational Championship to claim the tournament title. Read More.

4) Basketball Scoreboard: North Girls Clinch 13-4A Title With Win versus Wylie
Playoff chases are heating up for all six MISD basketball teams, but for the North girls team the postseason is no longer just a dream as the Lady Bulldogs clinched the District 13-4A championship with a road win at Wylie. Read More. 

5) Soccer Scoreboard: MHS Boys Coach Wins 250th Game in Career
Friday night was a busy night of non-district soccer action, where the MHS boys team defeated Denton Ryan for head coach Alan Pocock’s 250th victory. Below are the scores for each match on Friday.  Click here for the scores for each match.

9) MCA Lady Mustangs Move Into First Place With Victory Over Dallas Lutheran
