Head Over to Meet Trixie and Oreo if Your Family is Looking for a New Pet

Meet Trixie, a friendly, twenty-eight pound, mostly white and black Spaniel mix. You might be enamored by her soft coat which has white and black blotches on her back side. Because of its softness, you will love to run your hands through her hair it while petting her. Trixie loves to be petted. She also loves to take walks and she is easy to walk. According to her previous owner, she is friendly with other animals, children, and adults. In fact, her previous owner noted that she was “a good dog” and would be especially “good on a farm”. However, the SPCA of Texas recommends a privacy fence around her play area since she knows how to climb chain link fences. Trixie was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 16 because there were too many animals on the previous owner’s property. She has been spayed, microchipped, and received her age-appropriate vaccinations. She has been dewormed, and has received Flea/Tick preventatives. Trixie is heartworm positive, however, the SPCA of Texas has teamed with VCA Animal Hospitals to provide Heartworm Treatment at no expense to you, the adopter. All you need to do is love her while she recovers. Please come and visit Trixie. You might agree that she is a really good dog! #140265
Oreo 140283

Meet Oreo, a well-mannered 7-year old, 13 pound male cat. He was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on April 18 because his family had allergies. Now he’s looking for his furr-ever home. His breed is a Domestic Shorthair mix and there’s no need to tell you the colors of his handsome fur coat! Oreo has been neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV (he’s negative), microchipped and has received age-appropriate vaccinations. His previous family says he tends to overeat so they fed him weight control food. They say his personality is calm and mellow and he is intimidated by aggressive people. Oreo is friendly with other cats. He loves being petted between his ears and down his back. His hobbies are playing chase, pounce, and fetching little toys! He does love to sit outdoors in the backyard for hours and hours. His previous owner says he would like a farm home! Visit Oreo today, and you can chat about your friendship and spending his golden years with you! #140283
