On Saturday, July 16th, Hannah Baylog and Tanner Smith were joined together in holy matrimony at St. James Espicopal Church in Painsville, Ohio. The Rev. Vanessa Clarke officiated. The bride is the daugther of Louis and Julie Baylog of Madison, Ohio, and the groom is the son of Jim and Tammy Smith, of Lucas, Texas.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given away by her parents. She wore an alabaster Maggie Sottero two piece dress, featuring a strapless beaded top with a sweetheart neckline, and full satin skirt. A tiny tiara framed the bride’s beaded finger-tip veil, and she carried a hand-tied bouquet of off-white roses made by her mother, and grandmother, Mary Alice Andrews.
The bride was attended by maids of honor, Elizabeth Suhadulnik, cousin of the bride, of Painsville, Ohio, and childhood friend, Ashley Ricks, of McKinney. Also in attendence were Christina Wolfe of McKinney, Amanda Jane Roberts of Dallas, Samantha Baylog, sister-in-law of the bride, of Denton. Olivia, Julie, and and Jenny Wellert, cousins of the bride served as flower girls. The bridesmaids wore dark purple, strapless chiffon tea-length dresses, and carried smaller hand-tied bouquets similar to the bride’s, also made by the bride’s mother and grandmother.
The groom was attended by Brandon Reintjes, Samual Nagy, Ryan Russell, and Mike Derrick, all friends and former McKinney High School classmates, as well as, friend and brother of the bride, Alex Baylog. John Andrew Baylog, brother of the bride served as lector during the ceremony.
A reception honoring the newlyweds and hosted by the bride’s parents was held at the Elk’s Lodge, in Saybrook, Ohio. The couple was also honored with numerous parties and showers in the weeks prior to the ceremony, including a Rehearsal Dinner hosted by the groom’s parents. The Rehearsal dinner was held at the Lakehouse Inn overlooking beautiful Lake Erie, where later, Elizabeth Suhadolnik hosted a Beach Fire for the young couple.
Both bride and groom are McKinney High School graduates, where they were high school sweethearts. The bride attended Akron University, and is employed by Ulta Beauty. The groom is a graduate of the University of North Texas and is employed by S and S Electric. Following a honeymoon to Niagra Falls, the couple will make their home in Plano, Texas
