Habitat For Humanity Moving ReStore and Offices to Couch Drive

The McKinney City Council unanimously approved the recommendation from McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) to award North Collin County Habitat for Humanity (NCCHFH) $140,000 toward the closing costs for a 50,000 sq. ft. building on Couch Street. The purchase of this building will allow NCCHFH to consolidate its 6 current locations under one roof.  The move will take place in late summer.

NCCHFH has received a $10,000 donation from Watlin Group and Appian Commercial Realty/ Ray Eckenrode and a $7,000 donation from ViewPoint Bank to offset closing costs. ViewPoint Bank is providing financing for the new facility. In addition to these generous donors, the Meadows Foundation awarded NCCHFH $100,000 toward the purchase of the new facility.
