Old Fashioned Rummage Sale to Benefit the Collin County Historical Society
It may not be the New Colossus so uniquely identified with the Statue of Liberty but it does ring true in a new fund-raising endeavor for the Collin County Historical Society.
In an ongoing effort to increase financial support, a rummage sale will take place on Friday July 15 and Saturday July 16, 2011 from 8 AM until 2 PM on the premises of the Collin County Historical Society/North Texas History Center, 300 E. Virginia St., McKinney, TX 75069. (Corner of Chestnut and E. Virginia.)
What are we looking for?
Electronics and kitchen appliances
Dishes, flatware and glassware
Books and DVD’s for all ages
Clothes that no longer fit
Bath towels, bath rugs and sheet sets
Slightly used toys
How to donate
Donations may be dropped off at the North Texas History Center on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 – 2:00. Donations are tax deductable and receipts will be provided. (Donors however should consult their tax advisors regarding the deductions.)
