Frisco ISD Offers Bond Program Sessions to Public

frisco_isdFrisco Independent School District invites residents to learn more about the bond program appearing on the ballot on May 10, 2014.

Voters are being asked to consider a $775 million bond package to provide educational facilities for up to 66,000 students.

FISD leaders will present information and answer questions from the public during four upcoming community forums.

Each event will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

  • ·         Monday, April 7 – Wakeland High School, 10700 Legacy Drive.
  • ·         Wednesday, April 9 – Frisco High School, 6401 Parkwood Boulevard.
  • ·         Wednesday, April 16 – Heritage High School, 14040 El Dorado Parkway.
  • ·         Thursday, April 17 – Centennial High School, 6901 Coit Road.

To participate in the election, residents must register to vote by April 10. Election Day is May 10. For voter convenience, temporary early voting opportunities will be available for one afternoon/evening at most FISD campuses between April 28 and May 6.
