The McKinney Office of Environmental Stewardship is sponsoring one more free seminar on residential lawn irrigation to celebrate July as Smart Irrigation Month.
The seminar is free, but pre-registration is encouraged. Seminar topics will include an overview of sprinkler systems and smart landscape watering best practices. It will take place Saturday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to noon at 7850 Collin McKinney Pkwy, Suite 302. Click here to register online.
Caryn Walz and Patty Sipe of the Heads Up Sprinkler Company will be the featured speakers. Both are outdoor water conservation experts and EPA Water Sense Partners.
Residents are encouraged to come learn how to:

–Learn how to improve your overall sprinkler system efficiency and enhance your landscape.
–Find out about current rebates available for retrofitting your system with ET controllers and rain/freeze sensors.
