Flash Flood Watch Issued for North Texas as Storm System Approaches

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for North Texas until Sunday.

As the NWS website states, “rainfall amounts will average 3 to 6 inches across the watch.”

Heavy rainfall is expected to begin around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22 and continue through the evening of Sunday, October 25. In the event of a flood remember not to try and drive through flooded roadways.
