The Professional Fire Fighters of McKinney spent three days during the month of May collecting money at various intersections throughout the city in support of a nationwide campaign that is backed by the International Association of Fire Fighters.
The PFFM has been contributing its time and efforts the past couple years to the Fill the Boot Campaign, and this year was no exception. The PFFMs hard work on the street over the three days allowed a contribution of $18,656.38 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The PFFM would like to thank all those who donated time and money, as well as the citizens of McKinney. Their efforts help make possible a nationwide network of specialized medical clinics, financial assistance, expensive assistive equipment, support groups, informative publications and, of course, summer camps for kids.
