`Fine Arts’ Exhibition at Collin College Showcases Faculty Talent

In the Fine Arts Division of Collin College, those that teach, do.

THE ARTS gallery’s newest show puts the spotlight on the fine arts faculty at Collin College with “THE ARTS faculty.”

This annual exhibition showcases the work of professors at Collin College. The show runs from Monday, Aug. 15-Thursday, Sept. 15, at the gallery located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

“THE ARTS faculty” exhibition is free and open to the public. It will feature 2D and 3D design, ceramics, commercial art, digital art, drawing, figure drawing, jewelry and art metals, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and watercolors.

A reception for the show is set from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the gallery.

THE ARTS gallery hours are: Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
