Former McKinney Boyd athlete Conor Doyle is coming to Major League Soccer.
The ex-Bronco has dealt with injuries the past few years, which included signing with but not playing for Creighton University.
But according to Yahoo and Soccer America Daily and Yahoo, Doyle, 21, has joined D.C. United. He wasloaned to MLS by Derby County, for which he has played 23 games since 2010. The website said ankle and hamstring injuries have hampered Doyle’s progress at Derby, which plays in the League Championship, the second level of pro soccer in England.
