ESPN Recruiting Writer Features MHS Speedster T.V. Williams

By Steve Kirk, TSB Editor

McKinney High’s T.V. Williams, a blazing fast athlete who will be a junior this fall, has caught the attention of the self-proclaimed World Wide Leader in sports.

ESPN.com’s RecruitingNation blogger, Damon Sayles, featured the 5-foot-8, 147-pound Williams in his subscriber-only blog on Wednesday evening. And Damon was impressed. He says that Williams showed he’s one of Texas’ fastest football players in recent camps hosted by SMU, Houston and Texas A&M, where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.31 seconds. T.V. is also headed to LSU for its camp in Baton Rouge.

At MHS, Williams played wide receiver, running back and some quarterback (when the Lions went to the Wildcat formation) in 2011.

According to ESPN, T.V. already has a scholarship offer from the University of Houston and has drawn interest from SMU, TCU and Texas A&M.

Keep an eye on this guy!
