McKinney fans are in for a real treat this weekend as country music’s trend-setting beauty, Imaj takes the stage Saturday night for Music Under the Stars at Wales Manor Vineyard and Winery. The multi-talented Imaj knows her way around music, singing everything from opera to pop in no fewer than 6 languages. But at the end of the day, she calls country music home.
With an exotic beauty to match her wonderful voice, Imaj has been featured in commercials, magazines, newspapers and television programs, as well as on the concert stage.
Imaj appeared as a special guest performer at Gretchen Wilson’s Fan Fest, and has opened concerts for Soledad O’Brien, Lorrie Morgan and most recently, Collin Raye. Imaj appeared most recently in McKinney on April 20th at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, sharing the stage once again with Raye.
Tickets for Music Under the Stars are $10 per person (all ages). Bring a picnic basket, folding chairs and blankets, but leave all outside beverages at home. Wine, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase at the winery. Gates open at 6:15 p.m. with the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Wales Manor Vineyard and Winery is located just east of McKinney in the New Hope area at 4488 CR 408. For more information call 972-542-0417.
