Eckenrode Selected one of Collin County Buisness Press’ Top 40 Under Forty

Submitted by Ray Eckenrode for Collin County Commissioner

Local businessman and community leader Ray Eckenrode has been selected as a Collin County Business Press (CCBP) “Top 40 Under Forty” honoree for 2012. The CCBP honor highlights Eckenrode’s accomplishments as a successful entrepreneur, recognized community servant, and renowned civic leader throughout Collin County. This year marks the CCBP’s inaugural “Top 40 Under Forty” Awards class.

The “Top 40 Under Forty” recognition program honors “Collin County’s best and brightest young executives and entrepreneurs,” according to the CCBP website. The final group of 40 distinguished business and community leaders is a veritable who’s who of Collin County’s top innovators, decision makers and leaders. For his part, Eckenrode is humbled by the accolades. “It’s an honor to be recognized in this way by Collin County’s premier business media publication. To be a part of their first-ever list in 2012 makes this achievement even more rewarding. Frankly I wouldn’t be in this position were it not for my teammates at Appian or the tremendous civic and commercial organizations I’ve had the privilege of being associated with these past years. I tip my hat to my colleagues and friends who’ve made this achievement possible. We’ve done it together.”

When he’s not leading Appian Commercial Realty or serving the residents of Collin County as an active member of numerous boards of directors and civic associations, Ray continues to promote his vision and agenda to the residents of Collin County as a candidate for the 3rd precinct commissioner’s chair.

With the May 29 Republican Primary Election just weeks away, Ray continues to present his credentials as the race’s only candidate with an authentic record of success in the private sector. Along with his documented achievements as a conservative businessman and civic leader, Ray has the endorsements of local law enforcement groups, key civic and commercial organizations, outgoing precinct 3 Commissioner Joe Jaynes, and more than a thousand enthusiastic Collin County voters.
