Stepping Stones Church hosts Easter Egg Hunt with eggs dropping from an airplane

Thousands of eggs will be dropped from a plane to join thousands more already on the ground at the community wide Egg Drop on Sunday, April 17, at University Business Plaza located just north of Aero County Airport in northwest McKinney.  The event, sponsored by Stepping Stones Church is for kids ages 12 and under and will feature a live DJ, bounce houses, games, face painting, food and prize drawings.  The event begins with registration at 3:00 pm and the egg drop will happen at 4:00 pm.  University Business Plaza is located at 1918 University Business Drive just behind the Wal-Mart at the corner of Highway 380 and Custer Road in far northwest McKinney.

Jeff Nyberg, Ph.D., pastor of Stepping Stones said, “This unique event promises to be fun for the whole family.  Preschoolers and younger children love just about any kind of egg hunt.  But older kids and parents alike will get excited about eggs falling from the sky.  Our church is all about family so our door prizes include a deluxe car detail for dad and $100 bills for moms and other cash prizes for the kids.”  Prior to the egg drop there will be activities for every age, food & drinks and it’s all free.

Stepping Stones is a new church meeting in warehouse space at University Business Plaza.  Their Sunday worship service is at 10:30 AM.  For complete details on the church and the egg drop please visit or call 214-548-1300.
