Dominating `D’: 6th-Grade YellowJackets Yet to Allow a Point in League Play

Submitted by TSB Community

The McKinney YelllowJackets 6th Grade football team continues to be one of the most dominating youth defenses in the area. As the Jackets head into their last regular season game this Saturday with an undefeated record on the line, they still remain the only team not to give up a single point in league play.

The majority of these kids have been friends and played every sport together since 2nd grade.

“The boys are really having fun and play very well together as a team with high goals,” said Coach Ian Wyatt.

The Defense was nicknamed “Swarm” years ago because of the way the kids swarm on opponents like a pack a bees. The YellowJackets play there last regular season game against another undefeated team this Saturday at McKinney High School. The kickoff time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
