The Collin County Department of Homeland Security wants the public to know what to do just in case a disaster happens in our own backyard.
The agency is hosting a Personal Disaster Preparedness Training Workshop from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, at the Collin College Preston Ridge Campus Conference Center, 9700 Wade Blvd., in Frisco.
The workshop will be an overview of possible disaster and emergency scenarios, personal and family preparedness, and resources.
The workshop is free and open to the public. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited.
