The Cross Timbers Sierra Club, which serves Collin, Denton, Fannin, and Grayson counties will have Sally Evans from theBlackland Prairie Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists speak at the Cross Timbers meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tues., May 26at the yellow house next to the Diggin It shop in McKinney.

Environmental movie and city of McKinney environmental speaker on June 9– Lastly, we are also having an environmental movie night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tues., June 9 at the Jonn and Judy Gay Library in McKinney. Martha Cavazos-Fipps, the city of McKinney’s environmental coordinator will speak about the city’s environmental programs and we will watch “Can the Gulf Survive?” by National Geographic that details the 2010 BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
