The first meeting for 2014 for the Collin County efforts in feral hog and wildlife education will be Thursday, March 13. The meeting will be at Myers Park and Event Center Landing (7117 CR 166, McKinney) at 6 p.m.
We encourage Collin County farmers, ranchers and land owners that are experiencing problems with feral hogs or other wildlife to attend the meeting, as well as area feral hog hunters and trappers that are interested in helping us in the collaborative effort to reduce the feral hog population in Collin County.
In conjunction with the feral hog meeting, we are also starting wildlife education in general. For this 1st Quarter meeting, Brett John- son, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Urban Biologist, will present information on “Urban Wildlife Control.”
For more information about this meeting, please call the Collin County Extension Office at (972) 548-4233 or email Rick Maxwell at email@example.com.
There is no cost to attend this meeting.
